About Me

I am Habakuku Nagemi ,I was born in Busia county to Mr and Mrs Negemi. I am the last born in a family of 5. I went to Nambale primary school and later proceeded to Nambale secondary school; were i attained KCSE certificate.
After secondary school I went looking for a job in Nairobi , I sought for jobs for a year but could not land any good job,I gave up after year and decided to go back to my home county. I didn't have anything to do and that is when I started tilling my fathers piece of land,I sold the vegetables and earned more than I was earning in Nairobi,I knew I was in business and that is how i began my journey.
I have three children Moses, olive and Monica. Moses wants to be a pilot,Olive wants to be nurse and Monica wants to be a surgeon. I know there dreams are Valid.
During my free time ,I like swimming, dancing and soccer.

My Business

I grow cabbages and kales in my quater acre piece of land .I provide my customers and the community with highly fresh nutritious vegetables for home consumption as well as for sale.
My goods (vegetables ) are always in demand since ,most part of the area are in upland and people can not farm so the depend on people living along the rivers for supplies.
Vegetables are used in almost all meals and therefore the demand is high and it also healthy to consume vegetables.
In a month I spend $100 and my revenues are $300. my profits average $150 in a month.
I use the money for children education ,food and other basic needs for the community. I am a member of Gama children home and so I donate to them in terms of vegetables.
Thank for reading my profile.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders.
I take this opportunity to thank you for the first loan. I am now requesting for a second loan to help me expand my farm by 0.5 acres. I will use $150 to hire labor and tractor to till the land and use $140 to acquire a new foot pump for my farm. The current foot pump was a second hand foot pump and is no-longer effective. given my expansion plan a brand new foot pump would really be crucial.thank you in advance. my revenues will increase by 100% in the next three months. Thank you so much,I love you all.

    Hi Habakuku,
I notice that you have yet to make your first repayment.
If you are having trouble with the repayments, you may wish to formally reschedule them in order to protect your On-Time Repayment score, which will be critical should you require to borrow in future.
I hope that all is well.

    Hi Habakuku,
Can I ask how much does the land cost to lease - or, how long a lease would you get for the ~US$485?
    Regards
    Michael

Thank you. Hope you are doing fine. I would lease the one acre of land at cost of $250 for a period of three years. I would then use the balance of $235 to clear the land ,and buy certified seeds for good production.
