About Me

It was 4 years ago when i ventured into farming after a terrible accident that left me homeless,My parents perished in the year 1995 when i was a young lady, life became difficult as my auntie and uncle were not good financial to see me through school.
I had to sell water to local community and as years passed i was close to losing hope and wanted to take my life away.
My dearest grand mother whom passed a year after my parents left me with apiece of land which was supposed to be for my father,at my age i dint see the need of the land as i knew nothing about what to do with it,my uncles convinced me to sell the land but my closest friend one day advised me not to sell and use it for farming,
I dint have capital but i decided to start from nothing believing that i would one day make it big in life.
Last year December i met this company named Frigoken growing french beans for export we did negotiate and i leased the land to them, after gaining experience they hired me as a supervisor and as the year came to an end and the contracted between me and them end i started growing french beans for my own after saving my salary which enabled me buy seeds from the company.
i like watching boxing and movies i would support my sister and brothers to make it in life.

My Business

I sell french beans and kale's to my community mostly hotels and food store and groceries around.I count my profits from kale's selling on a daily basis as some kale's are on harvest and french beans i sell to the company at 23kes per kg.
I harvcest every three months a total of 1200kgs giving me a total of 24000 ks,After deducting all the inputs and expenses i get a profit of 16800 ks which i use to buy farm inputs and facilitate next farming project.
i buy clothes and basic needs and support my sisters and brothers with small amount for their basic needs too.

Loan Proposal

I would use the loan to buy farm inputs like fertilizer at 30usd and pesticides, foliar sprays at 20 us.
the amount will boost my farming production in terms of quality and quantity leading to good kilogram returns,Which will give me more profits and improve my living standard.
I expect a profit increase of 20% after a good planting and harvesting period.
