About Me

I was in primary school in one of the village call kapisoge primary school, which is a puplic withine the the county of Bomet in the Rifty valley,on 2002 I joined secondary school.my hardship is that how to accure some money to start a business, then due to the limited resource i have started hired some land to plan some grop like potatoes in that small land that is my future plan. The uniqueness in my area is that every person depends on planting season whereby every person or family plan maize within the different season. My children and my future plan in my family is that,if in God willing i need them to become a teachers.my hobby is visiting people and shearing ideas, and being a farmar.

My Business

If i happen to plan three acres of land with hyrish potatoe in good season and manage to harvest one hundred and eighty sacks and sell it by 3000 ksh per sack i will make a lot of profit of more than ksh350000 when i less the input that must be a good profit even if it is less within 78days. If it happens like that, i wish to buy maize seeds imediatly when people are harvesting stock after a few months and sell it either within or take it to nearby neighbouring market since there is different harvesting season within the rifty valley, take for example in North Rift and South Rift, there is different planting season.Alway in South rift the planting season is from october to december when in North Rift and Cental Rift is havesting season. If the capital is available within that time of harvest, i even buy and take it without even storing, and i will make alot of profit. My plan is to see any avenues where i will get a good capital with a good period of re-paying back.

Loan Proposal

As a farmer i will like to increase my land by having invest in a large scale farming, right know i have bought 3 acres of land, and i wish to have it more than that so that in future i will have to sell my product direct to the market and in large quality than selling to middle men, with small amount.in future i wish to have my own car to assist me in transporting to the market of which i will like to re-pay this loan so that in future i secure a very good amount which can take me to invest in pick amount. Thanks you.

I hope you're going ok Tonui? Let us know how you're doing... Has the drought gotten a bit better?

If it would help, Zidisha staff can likely lower your repayment amount, & restructure your loan so you can just pick it up from here? Just pop them a msg & ask for some help :-) www.zidisha.org/forum-threa...

Wishing you all the best, Emma from Australia.
