I am a mother of 4 kids currently doing farming and also has a shop where I deal with various items such as planting kales, potatoes etc and in the shop sell household items such sugar, tea leaves, cooking fats, onions, tomatoes etc.

My business entails subsistence farming and the extra is sold as a source of income.Further I have a shop where I sell various household items such as sugar , salt, cooking fat etc. My sales weekly is Ksh 15,000 and my net profit is ksh 7,500.

My business proposal involves farming seasonal crops and also I have a retail shop where I sell household goods that are fast moving. The items in stock include sugar, tea leaves, cooking fats. rice, soap, omo etc. In the farm I have potatoes, Kales and cabbages among others.

There are various economic challenges currently such as covid19 which has affected so much how we do businesses. We have really adjusted ourselves to the new normal of doing things such as wearing the masks, social distance and washing our hands. Further adopting cashless payments modes to assist in spreading covid19
