Am Risper Wakhungu a second born in a family of eight. Am a teacher by profession and also a farmer by passion. I teach at Monor House High School which is one of the private schools in Kitale. Am also a mother of one daughter name Shirley who i adore so much.
We live in a two acre land in Makuselwa village with my parents and this is where my passion to do agribusiness developed.
Am a hardworking person who believes in utilizing of available resources to make the ends meet.
My main aim is expand our land and eradicate poverty at our home ana the village at large.
Am a farmer as i said earlier and its my dream to see our farm produce doing well in the market.
We deal with planting of maize, beans, all sorts of vegetable, poultry and livestock keeping, bee keeping(what we want to introduce), Fruits etc.
Our main issue is to expand our market to reach more people and this has been difficult due to lack of modern equipment to produce and sell high quality products.
We are looking forward to work with you to overcome all these challenges.
I would like the loan for my farm inputs now that the rain season is coming fast. I want to take the opportunity to thank lenders for my first loan that helped me buy the fork that is helping us to balance our farm and also spreading of manure in our farm. This time we want to plant maize and we need three packets of the seedlings thus the loan will be used to buy one of those packets. Thanks in advance.
