About Me

My names are Lilian Masaka. I am 20 years old. I was born in a family of 5. Four girls and 2 girls and am the third born and I live Railway street in the central province of Kabwe.
I was born in County.
I went to Luwisha Primary School and later went for my 12 grade studies at Kalonga High School.
After finishing my O Levels I was admitted at NRDC school of natural resources and development and pursued a Diploma in Agriculture science and Agribusiness.
Currently I am an entrepreneur doing business. I heard about Zidisha loans and I got interested.
My business is dealing in food crops nursery seedlings and plants.
Whereby I do prepare young plants like Mango seedlings, Citrus seedlings, rape, cabbage, sweet potatoes and sell them to Farmers at affordable price
My vision is to pursue a degree and a masters degree to enable to have high opportunities for getting a better job in the near future.

My Business

My business is to sell the different types of nursery plants, such as Guava, mango, oranges, lemon, sweet potatoes and many more. I also sell the seedlings and I grow different types of crops such as maize, soya beans, beans, green bean, carrots, tomatoes, onions and cassava.
These goods are very useful because they are highly consumable and most people cant do without them. I choose this type of business because people have no choose but to buy them for consumption. Hence in future I want to grow the business and expand business because it is highly profitable and beneficial to the people and to me.

Project Proposal

I want this loan to help me buy the farming inputs for my nursery vegetable gardens such as fertilizer, both D-compound and top dressing which will cost me ZMW 2500.00. This will benefit me to have a good yield of vegetable crops for sale and generate good revenue income. In addition to that I want to buy Agricultural Crops Hexaconazole systemic plant Fungicide which help me to protect all the crop for my vegetable crops.
