About Me

A father of two boys in Kenya and a small scale business man in the entertainment industry. Been in the business for over three years now and I have been able to fend for my family from the income generated from the business. Though business is low, its still good but going forward seeking to diversify my sources of income and wish to get into property listing.

My Business

I am in the entertainment business where I sell beverages and offer sports entertainment to my customers in the premises. I have benefit immensely from previous funding to increase my inventory levels and as a result have almost completely eliminated cases of stock out and hence my business is much more profitable now.
To supplement my income from my entertainment business, I am in the process of developing a real estate listing to help connect potential tenants and landlords easily, www.jibiwa.co.ke. In addition, the web site will help connect people with technicians in their neighborhood such as plumbers and electrician since sometimes this can be very challenging in Kenya.
I have realized these gaps but with limited start up capital, seek funding for house office desk and chair purchase to get me started on developing the system and fine tuning the business model and concept. These will require about $200 and this go will help to pay part of that cost and the balance raised from savings.

Loan Proposal

With the long rains about to set in and the cost of food continuously on the rise, I have realised the need to venture into subsistence farming in a small piece of land that I have so as to minimize the family food budget.

To be able to actualize this, I seek funding($100) to be able to buy seeds: maize, beans, peas and potatoes; to plant in the oncoming rainy season that sets in by April. The food I will harvest from this farming will reduce by family food budget by about 30%.

Thanks alot in advance to my lenders.

Mr Githu's previous loan was due to be fully repaid 12 May 2017 - but on 14 April 2017 he made his repayment, along with the next five, paying off the loan. That's right, fully paid off a month early! So if you are going to worry about a loan's regular payments being a bit irregular here and there, chill. If an under 10 yo boy can be patient with his borrower, so can the adults.

Patience pays off - and Patrick I hope your borrowing experience was just as positive as the lender's! Happy to lend to you again!
