About Me

I am Emmanuel from a family of seven siblings living in a small village in Ghana. My parents are peasant farmers. I live at Nsutam in the Eastern region of Ghana. I had my primary and senior high school education at Mt. Olivet international school and St. Peters Senior High School respectively. I was the Chaplain during my days at the senior high school and i received an award as the best behaved student in my school. I also emerged as one of the best business students in my school in the final West African Senior School Certificate Examination.i put up a very good and outstanding performance in the WASSCE enviable to my year mates. As a business student i had a business engagement with Nyame Susu, a small microfinance company as a mobile banker. This helped me to generate enough money to further my studies to the university level. When I entered the university in the first year, I almost dropped out because i had used all the money on me to cater for my accommodation and tuition fees. I was finding it very difficult to raise money to buy books and food so i quickly informed my parents to get me money to start a small business on campus to help me cater for my educational needs. I had the support of my parents and conditions quickly begin to pick up gradually. I make enough revenue from the business and am financially stable which has also impacted on my studies in the school. I have improved significantly in academics because i can make enough money from my business to cater for my educational needs. I sometimes support my parent to even pay the fees of my other siblings. I want my children to get the best form of education so that they will grow and bring their expertise to bear in the advancement of our beloved country and the world. I read a lot of novels.

My Business

I sell notebooks, pens and novels on campus to my colleague students. The demand for these items far exceeds the rate of supply because students need these materials to function effectively in the school environment. They all use books ,pencils and other stationary to capture and record important information from the lecture theater . I chose this business because it gives a lot of profit and students need these materials in their everyday school life. I generate a lot of revenue from this business which has helped me to meet my academic cost in the university. I reinvest the profit in the business and use part also to pay for my tuition and accommodation fees.when i purchase good worth 300 to 350 dollar can give me a profit of 80 dollars every week. The business is doing very well and very attractive.
