My name is Nobert Okare Omollo. Born and raised in Homabay County, Kenya. Growing up, I attended Gogo Katuma Primary school for my elementary schooling. Life in the village was fun and peacefully fulfilling. I remember the Christmas and New Year's celebrations and can't help but remain nostalgic of the good old days.
I joined Kanga School for my secondary education and later The University of Nairobi where I pursued a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agribusiness Management. Along the course of my university education, I lost my parents and life took an unexpected turn. I engaged myself in odd jobs to raise school fees until completion of my university education.
After graduating from the university, I got lucky to be accepted for an internship opportunity. Everything was going well until the Covid19 pandemic happened. This meant retrenchment with the lockdown measures put in place to curb the spread of the virus. After close to two arduous years, I opened the doors to Okarefish Enterprise.
Currently, my commitment is to my business- Okarefish Enterprise - and to my ambition of becoming a Software engineer. I'm also a freelance writer with a focus on small business ventures and a bad but enthusiastic dancer.
OkareFish Enterprise is inspired by our love of Lake Victoria Fish — the fresh fish off the lake, delicious fresh fish, smoked fish, and exotic flavours. We want everyone to enjoy our freshwater lake fish, and we've created a restaurant to make it happen. We use only the highest quality fresh ingredients to create dishes you'll love.
Purchase groceries and do a door to door delivery. The proceeds shall be used to pay back the loan amount in time and also raise school fees. The remaining profit shall be ploughed back in the business.
