About Me

I have been brought up in a farming family from where I started passion for farming. Having brought up in Central Kenya, poultry farming was not that attractive especially considering the cold climate. However, after completing school and going to the town, I realized that poultry farming is a lucrative business that has the potential to earn one high income. My vision is make Sirndos Farm the leader in indigenous chicken business. My mission is to contribute to a healthy nation by increasing the supply of healthy meet, to address hunger problems while promoting healthy eating.

My Business

Sirndos Farm currently specializes with Indigenous Chicken mainly KARLO Improved Kienyeji. We purchase day-old chicks from suppliers and rear them until about six months when we sell them for meat. In the process, we make some profit. The cycle continues. We intend to invest in incubators so that we not only hatch eggs from our healthy flock, but also engage in research activities to get the best breed mix for our business needs.

Loan Proposal

I will purchase two trays of fertilized eggs from a reputable firm that deals with KARLO improved indigenous chicken. I will then use my small 60-egg incubator (that I recently acquired) to hatch them and hence grow my business. One tray goes for about 5 dollars, which means that I will top up the loan to purchase the two trays.
