About Me
Hello. My name is Joyce Nakazwe. I am a farmer of Chongwe farming block. I plant maize and sunflower on my 15 hectares of land. The land is on title.
I live with my husband and together we have built a 4 bedroom house.
My Business
I am a full time farmer. I plant mainly maize and sunflower. I also plant other vegetables such as, green beans and onion.
I sell my produce to traders who come from Lusaka. I also deliver my produce to supermarkets and local shops using a 10 ton truck.
Loan Proposal
I plan to use the loan to purchase fertilizer for my Maize crop which I recently planted in my field.
I have already removed the weeds from my vegetable field and now I need to apply fertilizer.
Income Source
Maize is the staple food and the crop is in great demand, so once my crop is harvested I will sell to traders and supermarkets.
I already have a truck and transporting the crop to market would not be a problem for me.
