About Me

am a 59 year old man i was brought up in maragoli, which is located in the western part of Kenya, i currently live in kakamega county with my family. i have 2 sons and one daughter who are currently taking their studies in the university
am a farmer and i love farming with person, i keep livestock and from the produce i sell am able to earn an income which i use to support my kids education.
i love my county because of the its safety and how friendly people are, i have been able to grow my business because of the support my community has given me.
during my free time i love being with my family and attending to my livestock this gives me a lot of joy.

My Business

i describe my self as a farmer, i plant crops,and rare chicken which i sell the eggs to earn an income. i have a swamp area which has clay soil, i make building bricks which i sell to potential clients. the main crops i plant in my farm are maize and beans, which i plant twice a year, my farm produces 50 sacks of maize per a season, i sell 40 sacks and the remaining 10 i keep for family use, i harvest 15 sacks of beans per a season then i sell 13 as i store the remaining two for family consumption.
i have 20 kienyeji chicken which produce eggs that i sell to earn income.
the income i earn i use it to pay school fees for my son then use part of it to take care of household expenses
