About Me
Am a Kenyan, Civil Engineer by profession and currently working with the Government of Kenya. Am also a farmer particularly engaged in agribusiness with focus on horticulture.
My Business
I do horticultural farming, mainly producing fresh vegetables for local and export market. I have a contract with an Export company to supply French beans throughout the year . I do local vegetables on rotational basis; these are sold at the city of Nairobi. Currently am farming on a 20 acre piece of land under furrow irrigation in Narok County. Am planning to expand and also venture into fruits for exports.
Loan Proposal
I will use the loan to buy a bag of DAP fertilizer to apply on my tomatoes that are currently being transplanted. I currently have seedlings enough to plant 5 acres of the farm and hope to plant and maintain all of them.
