About Me

I am George Mwendwa Musya, born in October 23rd 1992 in a village at the downside of dry Mwingi district, Kenya. After my studies in high school the grounds were opened for me to take the tasks ahead of me-the task to change the seemingly poor lifestyles of my people who have been watching me grow as bright son of the society. To bring back to the society that what I yielded from college! It has never been easy in any part of the world to change negative beliefs, poor standards and even pessimistic cultures of those you care about. Ever since I had my eyes opened and realized the meaning and my purpose of life (back in the middle class of a lowly ranked public primary school of Eastern part of Kenya), the spirit of success occupied my young mind. Great ideas overwhelmed my mind since I wasn’t independent by then-I was still staying with my poor parents. I believed that success is a guaranteed entity, conditionally- this, I remained convinced it was worth a trial.
In 2007, I sat for a national exam and emerged as the best candidate in that school. This was just but a poor step since I couldn’t get anyone to mentor my and make me understand what I needed to do as a mindly outstanding young man. Unfortunately, my parents were financially challenged-living without assurance of tomorrow’s dish.
In 2008, in joined high school in support of a well-wisher who volunteered to cater for my four-year academic period. That was such a great opportunity in my life to prove my worth and responsibility. I understood that whatever the case, I was the responsible for my failures and success for my life.
In 2011, I did my KCSE National exams. Upon the release of the results in February 2012, I emerged as the best student in Mwingi district-that was the well-wisher. I was happy not to disappoint them. They were proud of me. I was awarded a sponsorship by Equity bank Limited-Kenya that enabled me to intern with them while in the university of dream and thereof secured some money for catering for my basic needs and tuition fees. This helped greatly since I didn’t turn back to my less-fortunate parents. I learned business procedures through positive interaction with the clients. Incredible entrepreneurial attitude developed in me. I learned that it is the best way to give back to my people. I learned to be responsible!
The above achievement still didn’t count much in my heart-I still had my dream plans in my mind, but I knew in this world, school is good. I believed, school was the best place to be at that tender age. I was twenty, and I was just done with my second level of education in 8.4.4 academic system in Kenya.
In September 2012, I joined my university of choice. My life purpose is the main thing that I have learned in this university. This has been possible through expanding my networks, leadership skills practices, community development forums’ engagement, keeping an open mind and being ready to learn. I am now just done with school, highly prepared to give back back to the community-the only way to keep my dreams alive. Ready to commercialize my skills and an entrepreneurial style. I am passionate to.

My Business

My business journey started after I joined equity bank limited in the capacity of an intern. I secured my entrepreneurship skill from that wonderful experience-an experience to serve millionaires as a teller. The opportunity had come on my way as a reward upon being the best student in my district in 2011 KCSE National examinations. I learned who the wealthy people are. I loved business. I gained massive passion to do it-this came after a good number of open minded clients shared their success stories. I learned that rough past is what exactly these successful personalities went through back in decades.
I realized that one of my life purpose was to deliver to people through quality service provision. I wanted to improve the lives of people through business. This came before I joined the university, I was very young. My first investment came back in 2012, where I had an idea to offer educative talks to young generations in schools-it failed since I couldn’t fully fund my travel costs. I didn’t have enough guts to approach an investor either! I was way too young with little information on how I could go about it.
My second approach was to write inspirational books and use it as a tool educate young generation on the change we need-the culture to embrace. The reach was small. The printing costs of a great number of copies proved to be such a challenge. I had to wait and get more information on funding in the university and hopefully fulfill my dreams to reach and serve people.
The standards of living of those around me more especially in my district is odd. An idea to register a company that runs some mentorship programs to assist the young has been running in my mind. Enlightening these young people through IT skills provision has been a great idea. Having done a degree in computer technology, I have a registered enterprise business that is aimed at providing technological services and solutions to all around my location in Mwingi district.
The financial void is the big deal. The great number of the young population aimed to be reached is massive and involving. The travelling costs and winning the attention of these young generation is just more challenging since they need motivation. I need to win their minds, I need to educate them. The satisfaction in my heart will be high upon support provision. Have always believed in possibilities but that has been long enough.
In 2014, I approached different big personalities, in plead for funding my idea in vain. Your company provides an incredible resurrection of hope if I may say. Am imagining of the impact of educating people and connecting them to the world through preaching positive attitude, information on current trending issues in the world that can improve the lives of these innocent souls and imparting the spirit of embracing education and information technology. My company will start small but obviously with future plans of reaching double numbers through your support. Am pleading for your involvement. Thank you!
