I am David Amoako, a biotech/healthcare entrepreneur based in Kumasi, Ghana. I grew up in Manso Nkwanta where I earned my basic education , emerging on top of my years class and offered science in the senior high schools before going to the University of Cape Coast , where I majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. I have recently completed and MBA in Finance from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. I I am currently dedicated to finding innovative solutions to the healthcare problems in Africa. My start-up enterprise is called Dare Labs, and our first product is a first-aid kit for homes and offices. I enjoy reading and listening to music
The core mission of Dare Labs is to discover innovative solutions to solve the pressing healthcare problems in Africa. The first product, called KareKit, is an innovative first aid package designed to bring access to first aid care to African homes and offices. I am convinced that first aid care is vital and can be a life-saving tool if available at the right place and the rig time. It is estimated that the cost of producing one KareKit, that is first aid box and the contents, will cost around 50 dollars and would be sold at 70 dollars , generating a gross profit of 20 dollars. The profits will be used to build the capacity of the company to serve more clients.
The loan amount will be used to buy first aid boxes and the the standard contents of a first aid kit. The box will cost 20 dollars and all the items in the box will cost 3o dollars. The loan will make it possible to launch the product , make them available to homes and offices whiles creating employment.
