About Me

I am a young kenyan and a part time student in Kenyatta University undertaking a bachelor's degree in Business information technology. The reason behind taking a part time course is that i ran a computer center where i offer computer services such as browsing and typesetting. The business is located near my campus and therefore, it attracts a lot of students from the campus. I started the business with small savings i had accumulated during my high school and i only had to pay the rent and the internet. I used my desk top computer and my personal laptop to start my business. My first month of the business was very slow and i survived with typesetting earnings. The second month of the business was very good and i manage to buy to more computers. This increased my earnings and since then my business has been on the rise. The demand for these services has been on the rise i would like to expand my business to even move into a bigger premises.

My Business

The computer center business among the students it has a very high demand. Currently i have for computer and this are not enough for my customers and therefore, more computers and a bigger space will help me increase my income. The business is highly attractive to the university students because i have a very informed attendant and i also work on the typesetting issues because i am well informed about the university specifications and writing styles. Therefore,with extra capital i will be able to buy more computers and shift to bigger premises which is available just next to my current position. This business is highly profitable.

Loan Proposal

First I would like to thank Zidisha and the lenders for this brilliant platform that is working to provide capital to people who could access bank loans. I would like to expand my computer center business to move to a bigger premise so as to cater for the increased demand of browsing and typesetting services. I would also like to buy to more computers and a new laptop so as to employ another attendant. This will increase the profits of my business. This will allow me keep on reinvesting my profits and even open another computer center in a different area around the campus to cater for increased demand from the university student to handle their coursework. I intended to repay the zidisha loan within the shortest time possible so as to grow my credit limit.
