About Me

Im Emmanuel karisa kaviha ,i live in mtwapa maweni village in Mtwapa Kilifi county within the republic of Kenya.mtwapa is located in the north coast and my village is in the East of Mtwapa town .Im married with five children who are all in schoolling.The first three are in upper class with the elderson being in class seven and the rest in six and five consecutively,the last two ,one being in KG 2 and the other still breastfeeding .I went to a school called mtomondoni primary which is within mtwapa in Kenya.It is found in the west of my home village afew kilometers from the chief's camp.I never went ahead due to lack of school fees from my parents as they were poor jobless.My main occupation is transportation and selling of spare parts like brakes,headlights,rims,tubes,bolts,carburetors,side mirrors,chains,oils,petrol,grease,reflectors and other items of value.Demand for these items is so high due to high population within mtwapa coupled with a twenty four hour economy within here.the demand is high due to most of them being small scale business men and civil servants who have low income and hence able to attract them.my customers prefer here because i sell fresh goods and services and too my level of hygiene is so high for that case therefore able to make more cash as a result of more customers.competition is there however i have my standards are very high through cleanliness and reasonable prices that is able to attract customers.we have about 3000 motorbikes within mtwapa ranging from bajaj.tiama and haojin.
I started this business in order to help my self and my family especially my children to go to better schools.I also started this because of the high population within maweni since its about to become a model town in Kenya.I will use the earnings to add more stock and expand my business to be able to attract more people and help my family with basic needs.Also its my desire that I help the H.I.V affected people in my locality.

My Business

i sell spare parts like brakes,headlights,rims,tubes,bolts,carburetors,side mirrors,chains,oils,petrol,grease,reflectors and other items of value.Demand for these items is so high due to high population within mtwapa with a twenty four hour economy within here.the demand is high due to most of them being small scale business men and civil servants who have low income and hence able to attract them since they hire my motorbikes to ferry them to their working stations within mombasa.my customers prefer here because i good services therefore able to make more cash as a result of more customers.competition is there however i have my standards are very high through cleanliness and reasonable prices that is able to attract customers.There are about 3000 motorbikes within mtwapa ranging from bajaj.tiama and haojin.my business is profitable because i sell substance items that are used by the cyclists on daily basis.my monthly gross profit is Kenya shillings 31,000.expenses is Kenya shillings 17,000.The balance of Kenya shillings 14,000 can be used to pay my lenders and also expand my business.

Loan Proposal

first may thanks to the zidisha members for making this happen. with this being my first loan from zidisha. am going to use this loan by expanding my spare parts shop by using the amount of Kenya shillings 30,000 on buying motorbike spare parts. and add them in my shop and use the rest of Kenya shillings 10,000 to buy other vehicles parts so that by doing this i will be able to sale more and increase my daily earnings.
