About Me

My names are Oscar Mambo Mutinda being born in the year 1988 at Machakos County in a family of 3 children being the first born.
In the year 1995 I started my primary school education at Kivi Primary whereby i sat for my K.C.P.E exams. Later I joined Imilini Secondary school in the year 2003 to 2006 when I did my form four exams.
After my secondary school education completion, I started to search for a job whereby I was employed as a casual laborer in different companies at Nairobi. That was from the year 2009 to 2011 when I moved to Nakuru and started my own business.
I use run a kiosk of which deals with second-hand cloths. I import my cloths from Nairobi.
Through my business I've been able to cater for my family needs, that is take care of my children school fees, food and shelter.
Also I use to help my parents who are at rural areas.

My Business

My business is located at Shabab Estate. Mostly I deal with ladies cloths. This is because ladies are so compassionate and they always want to be on time. So I make sure I supply the best cloths to them.
The demand for my goods and services is always high because for one, I know how to deal with my customers, secondly second-hand cloths are unique cloths, it is tough to see another person with the same cloth.
Since I have alot of experience on how to handle customers, most customers prefer my business because I don't over-charge them and also I supply to them the original cloths. And then I use to serve them on time.
My business is profitable to me because right now it's not where it was when I started, Its growing.
The challenges that I mostly face, is lack of enough capital to expand the business, also the transportation of these goods is very high due to taxes.
Mostly my typical monthly income, that is after i minus all the expenses, rages between Kshs. 3,000 - Kshs. 4,500.
I know through you Zidisha, I'll it will be easier to meet my needs.

First of all is to congratulate you people of Zidisha for the continued work you are. Thank you very much for being there to needy people like so as to boost their business and their business being profitable to them.
With you offering me with your loan, I will now be able to add stock to my business, which is also the will of my customers.
Transportation of my goods will be easier to me this time because at least I have I'll be having capital to cater for it.
