My name is Paula and i am an entrepreneur with zeal and passion.having been raised in a middle class family setting i started making my own money at a young age using my God given talent of plaiting hair.i am a hardworker who enjoys exploring new opportunities. My business deals with fingerlicious fish and i have also introduced juice business(The juice bar).I feel good when i know my customers are satisfied.i could not have started if it was not for zidisha:you loaned me money.
My business is called Fingerlicious fish hotel.it has birthed another section of business where i make healthy fresh fruit juice for customers.i call it "The Juice Bar"
my starting capital came from zidisha.i was given small amounts for starters.
my business is paying my bills and feeding me and family.during this corona pandemic clients are streaming to our local hotels they no longer eat at 5 star hotels.
I intend to buy fish from a supplier from the Lake to increase the amount of food to serve the high demand of my customers as i deal with fish and ugali business.also to purchase a juakali grill for grilling beef mshikaki, chicken gizzards for take aways.the fish would cost approximately 250 dollars (approximately 400 pieces of fish)that can feed customers for 3 days then i order again.the juakali grill to cost 80 dollars, chicken gizzards 200 pieces for a day at 20 dollars,2kgs of meat for mshikaki at 10 dollars.wooden sticks for holding mshikaki at 6 dollars.transportation costs of 20 dollars miscellaneous costs of 20 dollars.this business will create wealth for me,sustain me and create employment for my workers and feed the large student population in the area i reside.the Government benefits too as i contribute to paying tax.as for now i have started small because i lack enough money but the demand is high.i make daily profits of between 8 to 10 dollars.if i expand and get enough stock my daily profits will increase to between 20 to 30 dollars per day.
