My name is Florence Adu from Akatsi in Ghana. My father was a peasant farmer and my mother, a Seamstress. The hardship we went through as to what to eat (3 times daily) and clothes to wear was just unbearable. Hmmmmm...!
Unfortunately, my parents and my other four siblings were crossing the Volta Lake one day to farm, the boat capsized and they were drowned. This is the bitterest story of my life that I don't like telling people.
Some months later, I went to one tailor in my neighborhood and told him that, I want bring my mother's sewing machine so that he teaches me how to sew. The man agreed and gave me time to start which I heeded.
This man became my parent and taught me all that I needed to know about sewing.
The discussion above is a brief story about my life. Thanks
About my business, the incomes I have generated from going round the community sewing for people, made me to save moneys which I have used to rent a store for my shop.
I have duely informed my clients that, I had gotten a store/shop for my business so I wouldn't be going round again; so when they have something to sew, they should bring it to the shop.
Two months after opening this shop, my husband passed away and left me with 3 children who are all in school. Consequently, the little money I have saved to buy materials was used to pay my children's school fees and I came back to square zero.
I humbly need a loan to buy fabrics or materials that I can sew, sell and make some money to look after my children in and also to be able to eat 3 times daily.
I will benefit greatly from this loan because, I will no more send my innocent children to go beg for food or money for our survival.
When I receive this loan, it will change the face of my business as I will sew different styles of dresses which I can sell at prices in the range of GH¢50.00 - GH¢200.00 .
I sincerely need your assistance so that my business remain in operation and put food on the table for my family and also help others.
