About Me

Am Joyceline Monica,34 years,a teacher of primary school.a single monther of one child.
I was born in kabete town in kitui. western Kenya but I live in mutomo town western Kenya.am from a family of 5 children and am the third born.Am a disabled person with one hand but I do everything.
since am a single mother,no one helps me because they believe i have enough and yet what i get out of teaching can not facilitate me .its hard in the land i live because everything is bought.
Due to little salary,I decided to do farming and I have 3 hectares of land were I plant maize,beans and soya peas.I do it both for food and sale.i can eat and also sale to get extra income.to help my family and that my child can eat,dress and go to school to be successful person in future
with this one hand,i can do typing so fast cook,every kind of food including rolling chapati.
i do teach Sunday school during free time and visit orphans and my big dream id that in future i will have start helping few children who are in need.

My Business

my business is farming,like I said in my story,I do plant maize,beans and soya peas.I do it for food and commercial.I plant twice in a year but mutomo go through dry seasons most of the time because rain is not much.it takes 2 to 3 month to be ready for heavest.after I sale I get like 20000 shs were I prepare for second season,I spend some money pay for land rent,,some to do cultivation of land and then planting.I pay some money for my child school fees,help my siblings and then use some for home use.hope if I get this loan,I will buy fertilizers and my production will increase..
I decided to this kind of farming because the crops i plant and needed on daily basis for food and can fight drought.
