I was born in Central Kenya where I joined Primary School, first a public school, then a boarding school at standard four after my dad died.I was 11 years then.I performed well in my final year and joined a national secondary school,Starehe Boys Centre .
I studied in Kisii University in Nyanza Province where I learnt Management Science.
I started business immediately after High School where I did farming at home. Now am engaging in medium scale farming of food crops.I have planted maize at the moment amounting to 2 acres of land.
I came to Nairobi in search of a job and secured a place as a teacher which am doing up to date.Am also involved in Youth Development with Compassion International.
Am also involved with youth groups like Wezesha Huduma Welfare which is destined to aid in eradicating poverty in Kenya.
Am also helping helping my wife start a child care unit in the place I stay.It is generally taking care of children below the schooling age.
The unique culture in Kenya is capitalism which have affected a lot of our social life. But Kenya has a big potential to be a very strong nation.
My child is 4years at the moment.
My hobbies are swimming, running and self defence training.
My income sources are Farming,my job as teacher in Kochland High and youth training at Compassion International.
That is in the order of earnings.
My work as a teacher provides my daily needs but is not sufficient for larger projects.
I chose farming, because, one I have the land to farm, two,it my passion and last but not least is that it is within my dreams. Also farming is the backbone of our republic and therefore I aspire to be among the greatest farmers in Kenya and the world.
My revenue amounts to around Kenya Shillings 20,000 per month. My costs amounts to around Ksh15000.
I use most of my profits for expanding my farming business.
I expect to use my loans in reinforcing my farming projects. My maize are now in the process of first weeding which is almost through.I want to finance the second weeding which is also the final weeding. This weeding will cost around 63.7417dollars.This will increase my profitability because the weeding will be in time thus very healthy plants. This will give good sales as i intend to sell them as fodder crops.
The remaining 21.2472dollars will be used for my family expenses. That is buying I sack of rice at 13.8107doallars and other items.
