About Me

Am Dan Shama, the first born in a family member of 6. Went to school and finished my primary and secondary education through hardships since we were 3 in school and my parents couldn't afford to pay fees for all of us so I was on and off. After my secondary school, I acquired some little cash and opened a small retail shop in the village. I operated this shop for about one and a half years but it became difficult to maintain it since most of the income was directed to paying the fees for my siblings and offer a little support to my parents. Eventually I had to relocate to Nairobi city, where there was hope for a better income. I have been operating in a small shop in Nairobi since. However, the demands from my family have been straining the business and with my current inventory level, it will be difficult to remain afloat. It is for this reason I wish to apply for this loan so that I can boost my inventory, and be in a position to run my business while still meeting the demands of my family

My Business

I wish to inform my lenders that the year 2017 started quite well.Regardless of what has been happening cutting across my country, my business is doing fine. I am happy because I am still able to pay for my loan and still meet other expenses.I look forward to expanding my business that it can meet more needs. I am also looking forward to starting another business in the future as a result of the support I am getting from Zidisha. I once more wish to thank my lenders so much for helping my life to have a new shape. Thanks

Loan Proposal

will add more n more stock by doubling...... also get what I don't have in store n fast moving food items.
Am also thinking of putting up a small structure besides my only shop and introduce a fruit parlour whereby I will employ two ladies, one lady to be serving the customers and the other one to do the preparation of fruits that have to be ever ready when a customer needs.... and with time create more employment to the needy...
