My name is Richard Odhiambo, I am the first born in a family of 6 children. I am a Moi University graduate with 2nd honors upper division in aquatic science.
I graduated inthe year 2010,but despite my good grades and academic qualifictions ,no job was forthcoming. I tried my best searching for a job ,but non come my way. Since I had no capital to start any business, i was forced to stay idle and do manual work to earn my daily bread. I wrote a proposal to county government and I was given grand to construct three fish ponds. The business picked off ,well and today it earns me a living.
I have not started my family since I am still educating my siblings ,however I am looking forward to start a family soon.
I am a soccer fun and so during my free time I always watch soccer,I am also a good trainer and when free I train youths on fish farming.
my business is fishing farming, I keep Tilapia in my fish ponds.
The demand for fish is very high as most people today shifting towards white meat, fish is a vital source of protein and the community that I stay in are fish eaters .This explains why the demand for fish is always high throughout the year.
I use $50 in a month ,my revenues average is $300 in a month. I make profits of $250 in a month.
I use my profits for fees, business expansion and taking care of my parents.
