About Me

My names are Zipporah Wambui Maina and a residence of Teachers Estate neighboring St Mary's. The Estate is off Nairobi-Nakuru highway. My home is roughly 500 meters from the main road in a pink flats plot number 222 and house number 2. I first joined Mt Kenya University for a Degree in Human resource management after i cleared high school at Njoro Academy. I then joined Hair and beauty coarse at Vera beauty college for a certificate. I opened up a Salon at my nearby Teachers shopping center. For many years i have been a hair beauty and a stylist. I have developed a marketing plan which works best at my business which in this area of business i enjoy most. I believe that as people seek beauty they are constantly looking to improve what they have and we try our best to give them a whole new look. My hobby is cooking, reading magazine and especially fashion and beauty magazines,visiting the needy.

My Business

I set up a hair and beauty salon where i offer services like full-service hair(haircuts,style,trims,weaving,hair and scrap treatments,shampoo and conditioning),Nails(nail repair,polish,hand conditioning treatments,manicures,pedicures),Skin Care(massage,facials and body waxing). My customers drop by to my hair and beauty salon where as a stylist and beautician i pamper them and shape their eyebrows,color their nails and style their tresses all for a few or more cash. I learned that hair and salon remains one of the rapidly growing industries today hence i decided to venture into the business seeing it has more opportunities of accomplishing my dreams than any other business i can set. I started out the hair and salon business with a moderate capitalization. My success in this venture has been on the ability to provide excellent services, a consistently high customer satisfaction,using quality products,and providing an enjoyable atmosphere at an acceptable price which makes my customers to be willing to pay for a higher price to my operation that satisfies the client's desire for mental relaxation and an improved physical desire.
