I studied in Nairobi for most of my lower primary education, then went to Nyandarua for upper primary. I finished my secondary school education at Highway Secondary and thereafter did my bachelors degree at USIU in 2004. During this time, I was able to start small business ventures in the music and entertainment industry and eventually a company that dealt with production, events and dj. Over time, I was able to do production in advertising and media and music as a whole. Many challenges, including lack of airplay for the music produced, did not hinder me from going on with the work I was doing, including diversifying in radio adverts and jingles.
In 2013, I began doing research on other ways of earning through the use of computers and the internet. That was when I started trading the forex market after doing some courses on online trading and getting a mentor to teach me along the way. This gave rise to the formation of my current business Profit Pipeline.
My hobbies are learning new things through reading, networking for new ideas and spending time with family.
The name of my company is Profit Pipeline and our core business is online trading of foreign exchange, currencies, indices, stocks and options. The forex market is the biggest market in the world trading a volume of over 4 Trillion US Dollars in a single trading day. We also develop, test and provide software that assists traders to automate their strategies. The demand is there for an alternative avenue of investments. This is new in a way to most Kenyans, but as soon as they understand how it works, we find that they are very interested.
Typical costs are the Virtual Private Servers (VPS), Fibre optic internet connections, communication costs and IT. The revenue comes from the sale of the software, trading profits and commissions earned from trading volumes.
The profits go to reinvestment in the business, school for the child and home amenities.
The loan applied will be utilized to pay the software developer that I will be working with to design and code a trading robot which will be used to trade the Forex market. This trading software will be able to enter and exit orders in the spot market without any human intervention.
This will do a great deal in maintaining profitable accounts for clients and also having a consistent trading cycle in any market.

So far the industry is growing well and in the process of setting up a recording studio in order to work on future projects in a timely manner. Also looking to venture into film sound tracks, film scores and short films production.
My hobbies are learning new things through reading, playing the piano and guitar, networking for new ideas and spending time with family.
My business involves coming up with advertising concepts for both radio and tv commercials after which I present to clients for approval. Once necessary changes are made, I then proceed to hire a production studio for the recording and first mixing. From here I am able to do final mix and mastering using my own computer. The final product is delivered to the client together with an invoice.
This service makes good profit margins as the only costs are studio time and voice over artistes. Within reasonable time, I am planning to set up my own complete studio whereby apart from offering production services I will also hire the facility out on hourly basis for extra revenue.
For now I'm using the profits to cater for the costs of doing business and getting more clients, to save and buy more studio equipment and to pay for my monthly bills.
