About Me

I was born and brought up in a good and happy family till my Dad passed on.I went to a local primary school and where i managed to score a clean A and was admitted to a national school. at times i had to work for my fees and sometimes go hungry with my brothers. It was tough but at the end of it i came through it. With my form four certificate i managed to secure job and with that i paid my college fees got a better job and while i reflected on my life i realized that i was also subjecting my children to the same fate that i went through. That's when i decided to start a business and as a coincidence i was doing imports/export,some clients from U.A.E were inquiring about fresh fruit suppliers and that's how i hit the ground going.
My children have very big ambitions and that gives me a challenge to lay a good foundation for them to strive. I have a Nurse,an engineer and a Lawyer.
I love children and i always love to support them in any small way i can.i often visit children in orphanages or even in homes to give even moral support to them.

My Business

We are fresh fruit exporters based in Nairobi Kenya
Mayison Agencies is a family company that was registered in 2015.
We export fresh fruits and vegetable to Dubai and some parts of Asia. Having a good understanding of Imports/Export i found it easy to manage and run this kind of business and also it has good returns depending on volume.
1 box of avocado costs approximately 10 Dollars and is sold at 12 Dollars that is approximately 2 Dollars per box and exporting 200 boxes that will be 2000 Dollars and the return will be 400 Dollars per week.
70% of my profits mainly goes to my family upkeep while the remaining 30% to my business rent and paying packers who are currently on based on availability of work and i would like to have them on a permanent basis to be able to also plan with their income well.

Loan Proposal

I want to grow pineapples for export in my recently acquired 3 acres of land .With everything ready i need around 500 seedlings for a start which will be approximately 4.8 usd per seedling.
With that i will be able to export direct from my farm thus increasing profit and employing more people who will be working in the farm.
I expect around 35% increase in profit as i will have done away with brokers.
