About Me

I am Thomas Mutiso, I live in Nairobi with my wife and kids.
I am 38 years old. I come from Machakos County. I attended my primary school in machokos primary then went to st Charles langa for my high school education after which I joined Mt. Kenya University where I studied business management.
Get a job is always a challenge so I opted to employ myself.
I went into the market surveyed to see what kind of business I would venture into.
I discovered tomatoes were and are always in demand so I thought it would be something worth trying.

My Business

I distribute and deliver tomatoes to my clients. What I basically do is, I go to farmers back in the village, buy the tomatoes then pack them into crates then transport them back to the city, where I repack them according to the orders I received. I also have a small stall where local vendors come to buy then go to sell.
My other clients are restraunts they give me orders and I deliver to them once every week.
My profit range between kes 15000 to 25000 depending on the amount of crates I sell.
I use my profits to educate my kids and take care of other family needs.

Loan Proposal

Hi lender, thanks so much for the support you have been giving me, the loans have really boosted my business and am seeing improvement. I would like to request for a loan of 19 dollars to help me buy 2 crates of tomatoes one crate will cost me 12 dollars, I will add 5 dollars so that I will be able to buy the 2 crates, I will sell a crate at 20 dollars, making a total profit of 16 dollars.
I sincerely hope you will fund my loan to help me grow my business.
