My name is Jescah Chiteri from Nakuru County. I come from a family of four and I stay with my family in Freehold, Nakuru Town. I am a graduate from college where I did my Diploma Course and Graduated last year July. I started my business after tarmacking for several months without securing job and also wanted to avoid idleness since I had nothing to do at home. Also I wanted to become self employed after being frustrated. I used my earnings to purchase refrigerator and also pay premises rent with some of my earnings.
My business is all about providing fruit pudding to my customers. I usually purchase different kind of fruits and make pudding to my customers of which they find it sweet and more healthier for their body consumption. I do sell my products to my customers at a cheaper price hence gaining more customers in a day. I find my business being profitable since I gain a profit of Kshs 1,500 per day amounting to Kshs 36,000 per month due to addition of stock with the aid of the first loan i received from you. I also bought blending machine to make natural fruit juice to my customers. This has been positive to my business since I am in a position to provide both fruit juice and fruit pudding to my customers. I bought a refrigerator with the second loan that you gave me to help me preserve my fruits to avoid spoilage and also keep my products cold. I expanded my business by creating space for photocopier services within the same room that i use as my business since the room was spacious. This is because I realized that not all the time people will consume juice due to weather change. For now its cold season and i decided to expand since during cold season the business is down because a few people go for juices. I am planning to buy the laminating machine with the loan that you will lend me and also buy photocopy papers. I will be much glad for the support from lenders.
When I get this loan,it will help me improve on preservation of my products since i will be able to use almost 400 dollars to buy a fridge which will help me preserve the fruits to avoid spoilage and also i will preserve juice that i will make hence keeping cold. The remaining 40 dollars i will add more stock in my business. This will reduce the cost of going to the market now and then and also i won't get that much loss by fruits getting spoiled as i used to. This will boost my business since i will be able to satisfy my customers with fresh products of good quality.
