I wilfrida Otieno second born a family of 7, i have a diploma in sales and marketing which i acquired through a lot of difficulties.This course was to take one and half years but due to a lot of financial challenge it took me three years.I am a mother of four three boys and one girl,i live in Nyalenda in Kisumu city.I started grocery business from a capital i was given by my uncle of three thousand shillings which has grow to a turn over of ten thousand per month.

My Business

This business started with a lot of difficulties,three thousand shillings loan from my uncle to buy fruits and vegetables to sell in my neighborhood . To date my business has grown with the support from Zidisha team. currently i am majoring in supplying fruits i.e mangoes, oranges, pinneapple, water melon , bananas to retail customers and also a stall at five ways next to Kowino market in Kisumu town.The market around demands for fresh fruits that is why am looking for money to purchase fruits in bulk to help me meet the demand. This year, i took my son to form 1 without Much struggle

Loan Proposal

I have plans of expanding my fruit sale business in other three major markets which i have identified That specific fruits like mangoes, pinneapple and water melon sell at a high rate. The loan amount of 1444.37 dollars Will help me maintain constant supply to retail customers So as to increase customer loyalty. This inturn Will help me support myself, my family and the orphans i have been supporting.I Will also continue with my active involvement in participating in Church programmes of helping the needy as a way of giving back to the community. I estimate my profit to increase to kshs.4500 . I also want take advantage of This December festive season to help realise higher profits in order to cover for any dry season That May occur.

    I had diverted some of my working capital to poultry farming and the people i supplied are yet to pay me in lump sum which will enable me clear my loan by end of January, 2020.

    To my lenders, the sales have been low and i have had a challenge in debt collections from my debtors . Key to note, i have plans of clearing the outstanding amount by end January, 2020. Thank you

    I received a loan of 149,926 KES and i have already spent part of it in purchasing fruits which i have supplied to retail customers in the 3 local markets i had identified ealier. I Will continue to increase the stock of selected fruits like pinneapple, mangoes and water melon to support my expansion programme. Once again i want to sincerely thank my lenders for the continued Financial support

I have plans of purchasing fruits in bulk i.e water melon, pinneapple, mangoes to resell to retail customers in 3 local markets i have already identified to support my expansion programme.
