About Me

I am a business lady aged 30, married with 2 children; a girl is 6 years old and a boy is 1 year old. After my high school education I went straight into marriage in 2006 due to financial hardships, since then I have not attended college, I just opted to concentrate on business first and I will attend college at later stage when we will be financially ready to do so. From the onset of my marriage we have been living with nieces and nephews who attend high school. At one point we reached thirteen (13) in total in a family with nieces, nephews and in-laws – some are orphans (that's African style of living). Sustenance has been a great problem, due to the fact that the little I earn from my business of vegetables and farm produce and the little my husband brings home is not enough to cater for the family daily needs.

I HAVE EXPERIENCE AND STRENGTHS IN: Research, customer relations and financial planning. A demonstrated leadership strengths and proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities.

My Business

My deep desire has always been to develop my business i.e. fruit and vegetable business into a big business, whereby I will be able to sustain my family, attend college and meet the needs of the underprivileged in society, but always finding enough capital has been a problem. The little capital that I had acquired has seen my business through upto this time. Though its been difficult to grow due to the limited and insufficient funds, sometimes hand to mouth, we have survived by the grace of God. The fruits such as apples and oranges are on high demand in this part of the nation, but enough capital has been a great and unbearable burden to me. This has crippled my business. And as a result the financial problem (limited capital) prompted me to search for affordable loans, it has not been easy, until finally I was introduced to Zidisha by my friend and good Samaritan. Immediately I foresaw and predicted the relief, not only that - but as if that was not enough I went ahead and rejoiced and jumped.

Loan Proposal

With the loan that I hopefuly I will be funded from Zidisha,I will do apples, oranges and vegetable business of which fruits are on high demand in our city. One can't go wwrong with this type of business.
