About Me

I am a business lady ,a believer of the adage that "your candle cannot go off if you light others",I believe in hard-work and in empowering others.
I grew up in a rural village in the great Rift valley in Kenya. My desire to success drove me to work hard in school .I hold a bachelor degree in Arts with bias in communication and sociology from the University of Nairobi .
I am enthusiastic and a budding writer.

My Business

I am small scale farmer who does farming to supplement my income. I farm maize, beans and potatoes.
I got involved in farming as indicated to feed my family then I realized that I had surplus which I could sell and supplement my income.

Loan Proposal

I got involved in farming as indicated to feed my family then I realized that I had surplus which I could sell and supplement my income.
A quick survey in my village which is largely rural indicated that most families got involved in large scale tea farming therefore there was a ready market for my products. In this case, I do not need to transport my products (maize, beans and potatoes) to far flung markets largely cutting on transport cost. I own a two acre piece of land so in a bid to scale up my farming project, I lease more pieces of land from other land owners.
I seeking funding to scale up my investment by purchasing a drip irrigation system, right now I rely mostly on rain water
