About Me

I am Samuel Parsley Makongo, I am from Nakuru,Kenya, I was born in Nakuru at a village called Kaptembwa,Kaptembwa ward, I was brought up by a single mother with all the struggle she went through, she helped me to school to class 8, I was not able to continue to form four, I dropped out due to school fees issue.
I later joined casual workers who were building in a building sites trying to my my end meet, i am the first child in the family of 3,so i had to work hard to support my mother too,=.
I kept doing small savings from what I get and by the grace of God, i managed to open a small cereal shop at Nakuru kenlands opposite former post office office now known us Kendland medical services.
i also have a family blessed with one child and i am proud to be able to provide for them with the little we get.
my hobby is watching football, i love football and also i love walking around with my family during weekend after church service.

My Business

my Business is all about selling of cereals within my community which helps me get my end meet.I choose this business because by the end of the day people need to eat and I too,so it's a business that is best within here.
I sell different types of cereal but initially my capital I started with is ksh30,000 including rent, i started small but now i am expanding and the business is growing well,so for now there is demand of different other cereals and goods,so i needed to expand more to get more profit.
by the end of the month, i get a revenue totalling between ksh 22,400-26000 which is good and helps me meet my rent of my house and business as well food for myself and family.

Project Proposal

I am Planing to use this funds to purchase Pishori Rice in wholesale and add to my shop since i see demand, the pishori of 25kgs in wholesale is ksh3700, after i sale in retain i will get profit of ksh 1800 from it and through the profit i can add more cereals into my shp to meet the demand of my customers, the remaining amount i will purchase shelves to put into my cereals shop to expand it and add more goods in future days.
