Dear Lenders and Zidisha organisation, my name Miselo Robert, i am a zambian Citizen aged 29 and i live in Lusaka and do my fishing business in lake kafue. I ahev customers that come to order fish from many markets in Lusaka. I was born with 4 brothers and 2 sisters and all of them are in School, but as for me, i only ended in grade 10 because i am the third born and i have sacrificed my time to work for my brothers and sisters in order to pay their schools fees while my parents are also helping by providing the family with food, and i will still continue with my school when i will have a stable business that will not require me to be present full time. But as for now, i am working hard to make sure they are all successful and we will continue supporting each other. My business has been great to my family and myself, and i want to increase on my fishing nets and also work hard to open butchery and start dealing in meat as well as filling the fridges with fresh fish too.
I am a fisher man in Lake Kafue, and i supply the markets with fresh fish from Lake kafue. And i have markets from too many areas of Lusaka and the competition is high and the demand of fish is also high, i just want to increase on the fishing nets especially the big sizes in order to fish big fishes only that is on demand and leave the small ones to grow. And i choose this kind of business because i have experienced from my father, he started this business first and i was the only child he used to work with and now he is old and cant do it anymore, and we used to earn at least a lot for food at home. And now i am taking the business to highest level, where i am always making double what we used to make. And i use the money for paying of my brothers and sisters school fees.
Dear Lenders, i will buy more fishing nets to increase my fish supply in order to earn more profit and buy another fishing boat. I found a boat going at ZMW4,500 and thought of increasing my fish supply as i plan to be supplying the big supper markets.
