About Me

Am a Kenyan man aged 25 years.I was born in a polygamous family with two brothers, one sister and three step brothers. My mum is the second wife to my dad and am the second last born in our family. My mum passed on when i had completed my primary level class eight in the year 2004 leaving my dad unable to take care of us.I fortunately managed my fourth form in 2009.I enrolled for my college studies but the financial state of my father could not allow me anymore proceed anymore so i had to drop out to upkeep myself because i had moved from the village to the coastal town called Mombasa.Since i needed rent, food, clothing and several other necessities,i was desperate for a job or any other business to help cope with life.My younger brother too needed assistance from me since my step brothers were not stable too to assist and had their own families to take care of and my elder brother who took me from the village had been sacked from where he was working hence was unemployed by then.

My Business

I started buying phone accessories ranging from covers, batteries, watches from wholesale traders and selling them to my clients at a rented stall in town.I could manage to get a double income that helped me pay for the rent and meet my needs.
I later started selling chargers, memory cards, and by then through the knowledge i had gained from phones,i now can service phones, change mic and do flashing something i learn t from a technician i was close with.
I found this business so easy to operate and good income since i have very few competitors around me as it is also convenient for me as it gives me time to break on a weekend to attend church services.
On a good day i make sales up to 4000 and on low sales they turn to 1500.
From the profits i get,i pay rent for the stall, pay for my house rent, pay my younger brother's rent who is in college in another town, and sustains me and fare as well.

Loan Proposal

Hello, dear lenders.Once again i thank God for keeping you safe for all this long.Well, its been long and i had this idea of furnishing my home once i get through this past loans. My house looks dirty and the paint on the walls has faded so much which i could not stand anymore.I had everything in plan but later came to my knowledge that i was short of cash after calculating the cost.Due to the break of Dengue fever,i also wanted to bush the tiny mesh net to cover both the windows and the ventilation.
I also found out that my sofa set by coincidence is getting old and had to buy new materials before i call on a carpenter to help me out.Its a shame especially when you receive visitors and the find that they have nowhere to sit.I had a budget of $186 for the whole job as my house is not that big.I had successfully garnered $90 for the job not until i realized that my sofa set too is wanting.
If you dearly loan me on this,i will be the happiest man on earth. Thanks as you look forward to see me move into a decent living environment in this near coming future.Be blessed.

Congratulations to your cousin! While you are in the village of your youth, see if solar lamps are in use. It might be a business opportunity for you. Or even bring some to sell this trip.

I emphasize the best markets for solar lamps are locations without any power. Converting rural families from expensive, dangerous and unhealthy kerosene lamps to safe, clean, bright, economical solar lamps is the best deal for everyone. Do you have friends or can make friends in rural areas?

Sorry to have missed your loan Erick, but I'm pleased to see you have been funded. I wondered if you've tried using solar phone chargers. I charge my phone using solar here in the UK. It has more potential in Africa, where more people are off-grid, and there is more sunshine. Good luck with your studies.

Due to low cash in flow during this season,i have experienced some challenges in my business which hence have made it a little bit hard to meet my installment amount as per the agreement.I therefore decided if possible to request you dear lenders to be more patient with me and tolerant enough as i have to reduce the amount payable weekly by half.
I will find this more convenient and easier for me to pay as the earlier one was tight for me.
I will appreciate if you will understand me and i also won't fail you in this i hope. Thanks so much and much more blessings.
