About Me

Am jescah ashiali, I come from butere Mumias, am am 32 years old married with 2 kids, I attended primary and secondary school in upcountry, I wasn't lucky enough to attend college to further my studies, I later moved to Nairobi where I stayed with my sister, she helped to get a job on a retail shop where I earn kes 6000 per amount. I saved the little I would and also helped her with house bills, I worked at the shop for like 4 years then I met my husband, we got married then we were blessed with our first child, depending on my husband's salary wasn't enough, so we put our savings together and I decided to start an Mpesa shop where I also sell cheap phones.

My Business

I have an Mpesa shop, where I also sell cheap phones, airtime and also do simcard replacement for those who have lost their lines.
I started this business 4 years ago, 8n the beginning I was only dealing with Mpesa and airtime but I started in add more services as Time went by.
In a month I make a profit of KES 15000 after taking care of other expenses, I use my profits to take care of household bills and part of it to help pay school fees for my kids.

Loan Proposal

As a business woman I try to look for new idea that will increase my income, since I run an Mpesa shop and I have enough space, I will use this loan to get stock for home supplies, these are things like sugar, tea leaves, coffee sachets bread and eggs.
Home supplies are essential in most family and this will be able to run smoothly alongside my Mpesa shop as well as increase my income.
As part of improving my Mpesa shop i wish to increase my float balance, since I depend on commission from the transaction I make having enough float will proof very beneficial to my business.
I will invest 250 dollars in getting home supplies, I will divide the amount depend on the value and demand of the products I will be selling, for products like sugar I will invest enough since their validity period is long compared to that of bread and milk.
I will use the remaining 180 dollars to improve the float for my Mpesa shop.
Being able to earn more will guarantee that am able to pay my kid's fees on time, have enough money to pay my loan and be able to take care of other basic needs for my family.
I hope you will give this much needed support to help me improve my business.
Kind regards
Jescah.
