My name is Joel Githinji Mwangi of P.O. Box 922 Nakuru. I am a family man with four children

My Business

I do the business transportation popularly known as Bodaboda where I transport people with a motorcycle. I get a bout 30000 per month and 360000 annually. I also do farming as business where I get about 500000 per year so the total annual income is about 800000 annually. I use the amount to pay for the school fees for the children and cater for other needs.

Loan Proposal

Given that at this area many people are harvesting their maize at this season, many people have started to harvest and selling the maize at a low price to people who are coming from far to buy the maize because people within this area do not have money to buy the maize. I would like to start buying the maize and store it during this time when its prices are low. The same people who are selling their maize will after a few month start buying the commodity from far areas and at a higher price. This means that when i buy the maize from them and store it i will be able to sell the same to them at a higher price and without incurring the traveling cost. With this i will be able to have a good profit margin and to them i will reduce their transportation cost. The remaining money i will be able to buy seed and fertilizer to prepare for the next planting season on time.
