My name is Scholastic Naliaka, am the last born in a family of 5, 2 boys and 3 girls. I was born in Kapenguria, Transzoia County. I cleared both Primary and Secondary school in Kitale .I was unable to go college since my parents were not capable of taking to pay my fees, though I really wanted to go to college because my profession is sales and marketing. I borrowed Ksh 5,000.00 from Cousin and started a small grocery shop, God is good because few months later my business grew and I was able to repay the loan which my cousin lend me. Currently I live in Eldoret.
My business is located in a long Uganda road mailnne estate, Roadblock centre, few meters away from Khetias Supermarket. I sell products like Tomatoes; Onions, Cabbages, Sukumawiki and many more .I started the business with Ksh5, 000.00 which is doing very well. My profits keep on increasing every week because I have a lot of customers who buy my products because of my good services. On monthly basis I make a profit of Ksh10.000 which I use to pay school fees for my beautiful daughter and for my house rent. My dream is to expand my business and even introduce cereals products
If the loan is granted, I will use it buy fruits, cereals products eg maize flour, different types of rice, beans and many more, I will also build a good shop that will enable me to do my business even if its raining .Cereal products is highly demanded in this place, and the only cereal shop around here doesn’t have most of the products that are being demanded by the customers. The availability of these products will boost my profit margin by 40 %. My future dream is to expand my business to a big grocery and cereal shop around here and the entire Uasin Gishu County.
