my names are faith kerubo.am a first born in a family of three,only girl with two brothers.date of birth 23/September/1985.i went to kiwanja primary school from class one to class eight.year 2000 i joined kitwii secondary school form 1and 2.i then transferred to nyagesenda secondary for two years where i did my o level.i got married but separated in 2013.am a single mother of two girls aged 11yrs and 6 years nine months.after separation i had to sell second hands clothes door to door carrying the bulk on my back from 8am to 9pm.my small girl was then 1year three months.to meet our ends meet of food,rent,school fees and daycare fees.with small,small savings,and merry go round i was able to open a salon.the unique thing is seeing Masai 's with many cattle and they wear khangas as their clothes.i wish my kid will grow as first born doctor and last born a lawyer.i love watching movies.

My Business

i have a salon named celebrity salon.we offer braiding,nail polish,plaiting,wash and set,manicure,pedicure,coloring and dying,selling of hair pieces,hair extensions just to mention a few.for a salon women,ladies love to make their hair and to look smart,i chose this business because after my form four i enrolled to a hair dressing school where i studied about salon business.smallest amount offered to a service could be 100 to 500 .i pay my children school fees,pay rent,buy water 20ksh per jerrycan and i don't use one jerrycan,pay salon rent,pay electricity bills,security bill,this may i enrolled for an early-childhood development certificate course at Kenyatta university

since the first loan being 1200 is like 12 dollars in Kenya,i intend to buy hair pieces from darling company.a piece of hair packed is at 58 ksh.,and i sell the same piece at 65ksh a profit of 7ksh per piece.1200 holds 20 pieces. so 20 pieces provides a profit of 140ksh.the remaining amount i will buy an Afro comb 50kshs.the profit will be of great benefit to me in terms of income generating.
