I am Ama Amoakoa, a 28year old mother of two. I am married and I am living with my husband in a small town called Omanjor in the city of Accra in the Greater Accra region of Ghana.I am a hairdresser madam who owns a hairdresser saloon with apprentices working under me. My saloon is too small for the number of apprentices who are learning trade. Therefore, I have decided to do expansion works so that they would be comfortable learning trade. It is in this light that I am applying zidisha loan to enable me carry out expansion works to train more girls to acquire skills and create more jobs for themselves and the country at large thereby reducing poverty.
This hairdressing business I am doing has been given me regular income which I can boldly say it is something to write home about. I also have a small business alongside my major hairdressing business. This also fetches me money and it is very supportive.
Again, my husband is a skilled worker and he does supports me financially.
With all these supports, I will be able to pay the loan coming weeks.
This loan that I am applying will be used in two ways;
1. To expand the beauty saloon to make it more comfortable to attract more apprentices to come and learn a trade which will enable them acquire skills to create more jobs for themselves to better their lots in the future.
2. Expansion also calls for more beauty shops machines. So the loan would also be used to buy machines to facilitate and add more value to the hairdressing business.
I have a small and a lucrative business which runs in addition to my major hairdressing business. This fetches me money. My husband is also a skilled worker and he does supports me financially. I believe with all these supports I would be able to pay the loan coming weeks.
