About Me

My name Sunarto, father of two children and one wife, I was born in the village of Angkinang on March 24, 1973 and grew up in this village, Both of my parents are from Central Java, Indonesia. Because at that time my parents transmigration program then we arrived at the island of Borneo. I am currently staying at a private house that I have, even if the house is not big but is very pretty as shelter my family. Life in the village where I live is not much different from the other villagers, on average they live simply and earn most of gardening, be it rubber, oil palm, vegetables, fruits and other, and there is also a breeder, employee and so forth.
Due to the economic situation of my parents who have not been established at that time as well as the school away from where I lived when I was still at school then I only went to the junior high school (SMP), but with the education I have is I do not want to be silent and stop trying to capitalize hobby and ability myself that I have I try to learn a few things, after graduating junior high I try to learn to make various handicrafts from bamboo which is widely grown around my village, but at that time I learned handicraft has not been much in demand by society because it is the number of villagers have not much, after I tried to make crafts that when it has not produced then I try to work to help my parents run their business as a trader of rice and compost in the village where I live, that's where I learned about trade and efforts finally my parents until my current resume.
With the development progress of the village where I live and the rapid growth of population, the current village where I live is very crowded by residents either natives or residents who come. This development then I used to develop my business and a hobby I make handicrafts from bamboo like Cage or bird cage, tube in place to collect the money that my language is called Kitty, tapestries from bamboo and so forth.

My Business

With the rapid progress and development of the area where I live I decided to start a business that is long I run that business of bamboo crafts such as stables or bird cage, or a piggy bank to save money, Tipung of bamboo, bamboo wall hangings, and so forth with the basic material of bamboo, but these efforts had been halted due to lack of interest of the community at the time. But lately my efforts have begun to receive attention from the public may be due to my area began bustling and growing and people's lifestyle has changed. From this effort I make more money and can also reduce the number of unemployed in the area around where I live, because I can open this business mempekerjaan them though that's not the worst paid. When the craft of bamboo this business that I run it for areas where I live and the area around where I did not exist competitors, so this time I was able to market the craft that I made with ease, but there are obstacles I encountered in running this business ie raw materials or base material, because bamboo trees in my area today is not as much as it used to be so as to obtain a quality bamboo I have to order from outside the area and the price is certainly different if I take my own bamboo from the area. If I count and perincikan of what I have created for my craft from a piece of bamboo can benefit approximately 43,000 IDR, for example in the manufacture of 2 pieces Birdcage with the following details:
Purchase Bamboo 1 Trunk 15,000 IDR
Purchase Wood 1 Trunk 12,000 IDR
Purchase Cat: 1 Canned Medium 30,000 IDR
Wage Workers for 2 pieces cage 50,000 IDR
Total capital for the manufacture of 2 pieces birdhouse is 107,000 IDR
While I sell for 1 piece birdhouse is 75,000 IDR per piece so for 2 pieces birdhouse is 150,000 IDR then from the calculation for the manufacture of a bird cage with 1 bantang bamboo raw materials obtained a gain of 43,000 IDR. On average in a month I was able mengasilkan or sell approximately 15 to 20 cage or aviary. And for other craft differs for the benefits I get. I details the cost of making a birdhouse on the details above because the cage-making more use of raw materials, either bamboo or wood.
For their own marketing today, I still marketed at people around where I live and merchants who did come back to the place of me to market my craft into other areas. And for the future, I also have a dream that one day I will open up a kind of bamboo crafts courses in the area where I live, so it will open up business opportunities for others who do not have a steady job.

Through this application I expect help from Zidisha that would provide funds for lending it to me to develop my business because I am sure my business will grow and if of my efforts are not sufficient to repay them I still have other business as traders rice and compost that is certainly going to help me earn a living.

Loan Proposal

When will I get a loan from Zidisha then I will use the loan funds to buy raw materials in the manufacture of handicrafts from bamboo that I manage, among others:
Purchase Bamboo 25 rods @ 15,000 IDR = 375,000 IDR
Purchase Wood 25 rods @ 12,000 IDR = 300,000 IDR
Purchase Paints / Varnishes 5 Cans Big @ 60,000 IDR = 300,000 IDR
As for my workers' wages will be paid through the sale of these crafts.
I need the raw materials because in it I would not get Birdcage orders from traders for resale.
For that I really hope funders and can Zidisha loan fund would I ask this. Previously I was very grateful for having entrusted to join zidisha.
