About Me

I live in Kiptangwanyi shopping center which is about 45 kilometers from Nakuru town. I live in plot number 309, house number 1. I am married living with my husband and my two lovely children at the shopping center where I also do operate my business. One of my kids is in school. I started a kiosk at 2007 at the shopping center which has grown into a retail shop. This is where we obtain our basic needs and that of the family. I also rely on this retail shop for the school fees of my kid. We assist each other me and my husband at the shop when he is not at work. I have also integrated my retail shop with a green grocery where I sell vegetables and green food at the shop. This year the business has been very ok and the shop has grown well. I intend to improve the status of my business from the loan that I will get from Zidisha organization. During the last three years the area has had a very good production in the agricultural sector,
This had a great impact on the business as most business in the area usually relies on the farms.

My Business

I started this business in the year 2007 as a small kiosk which later pick on well and expanded into a retail shop. This has been with much effort from myself and also with the support from my husband. I sell foodstuffs at my shop, basic home use commodities and other consumables. This is where we obtain our basic needs and that of the family. I also rely on this retail shop for the school fees of my kid. I am very courteous with my customer as I know that without them my business would not do well. I have also integrated my retail shop with a green grocery where I sell vegetables and green food at the shop. The main challenges that this business encounter are lack of enough funds to expand the business, frequent droughts and high cost of living During the last three years the area has had a very good production in the agricultural sector,
I hope to get a loan with Zidisha organization and I know that I will improve the status of my business with the loan. There is a very high potential for businesses in Kiptangwanyi shopping center as it is a growing trading center.

Loan Proposal

Happy New Year 2013 all lenders and the whole of Zidisha team. I grateful for the opportunity to be with Zidisha. I would like to use the loan that I will get from the organization to buy more stock for my retail shop. Secondly, I would like to make my grocersy a modern one by providing packed fast selling food in my grocery.
