About Me

My name is Peter Kinyanjui. I was born in Nakuru county. I am the third born out of 6 children. I started school in 1995 in a small nursery school then joined Father Bado academy where I sat for my kcpe examinations and passed brilliantly.
I later joined Nakuru boys high school where I completed my highschool then joined driving school later at nairobi called Africana driving school.
I overcame my hardships by working in garden flowers as a florist where I used to earn a total of $30 a week.
I did save $70 per month for three and a half years so that I could buy a new small cab or a taxi.
I currently stay at nairobi and the people around me mostly work in the central business district and since they are educated I offer taxi services to them and I do keep a good customer service to my customers.
I am married with one girl and her dream is to be a medicine doctor when she grows up.
I love watching football and visiting animal parks.

My Business

I offer transport services or taxis services to the people around me.
My services are on high demand since as a taxi owner and driver I offer reliable and good services to my esteemed customers. My services are useful since from what I do, its where I get my daily bread and money to pay rent and fees for my kid.
I chose this kind of business since I followed my dream and it was my passion. I worked extremely hard to achieve this.
I charge a cost of $6 per passenger and on a daily basis, I get an average of 10 passengers bringing a total of $ 60 per week.
I use my profits in paying rent, buying food for my family, pay fees for my kid,pay my bills and also I do save 10% of what I get so that I can buy a new second cab for my business.

Loan Proposal

I want to purchase new headlights for my taxi cab. They cost $50. I will be able to work during the night since I still have customers who always require my services.
I will be able to make an extra 40% profit increase.
I will use the profits to pay my Zidisha loan, pay for my bills and expand my cab business.
I expect a profit increase of $ 60.
Thanks to my lenders and I'll repay my loan on time.
