About Me

Am Victor Baah, a 26 year old graduate from the university for development studies, tamale- Ghana. I studied Pubic health nutrition. I completed techiman secondary school and Asueyi methodist junior high and primary school, all in techiman-Ghana.
I am community nutritionist who sees to the dietary interventions of people who needs help with diet and health within the bia-district and beyond. Most of the conditions in the district are dietary related disorders example diabetes, hypertension, cancers and so on, that are highly related with poor eating habits, consumption of high risk processed foods, bad food additives coupled with low education and promotion on diet and health.

AIM
To reduce the prevalence of dietary related conditions through health education and promotion and also make available chemical free and organic foods for purchase throughout the various health centers in the district.

To establish nutrition care clinics such as diabetes clinic, baby friendly clinics, pregnancy schools where individual diets may be reviewed and assessed. This may provide the venue to sell nutritious diet or food as well

HOW I STARTED
I consulted some key stakeholders in the district to let them know of the wide spread of these dietary related ailments and how assessing good quality foods coupled with education could help reduce this incidence. Later I raised some money (not enough) to start a health food store where chemical free foods are sold. I started moving through the health centers to promote this innovation.
