About Me

my name is Josphat Kangeri and am a resident of Nakuru county. am married with four children all who are in school.l have three sons and one daughter.am a pastor and do minister in my local church here in Nakuru.am also a farmer and do practice dairy farming in my farm.after my parents passed on l was not able to continue with my secondary education and opted to strart farming to earn a living but since l was active in the church l joined the bible school and after graduating l do pastoral job here in my local church. l use my earnings from the farming to support my family.

My Business

l started dairy farming many years ago and this has been the source of my livelihood. the business is good as there is always ready market for the milk due to the high population of Nakuru town. l have three grade cows that l milk a minimum of thirty six liters of milk daily. l deliver the milk to local milk cooperative society at ks 30 per liter. this enables me to have steady income of at least ks 30,000 per month.no competition is involved with dairy farming due to the scarcity of the commodity this is because of the scarcity of the milk.the business is good as there are minimal expenses.if advanced with the loan l will use the money to buy another cow that will enabkle me increse the produce of milk.

I spoke to Mr. Josephat Kangeri on phone and he promised to call me back at 7 p.m (Kenyan time 24th April, 2014) with a plan on how to restructure future repayments. I will provide a more conclusive update after that phone call. He hung up before I could find out how his business is doing or whether his family has stabilized after the loss of both his parents. We all hope all is well with him and he will continue providing loan repayments

Mr. Kangeri proposed a repayment schedule of Ksh. 800 per month (approx. $10 per month) and I requested him to get online and adjust the repayment schedule in person while at the same time at least leaving a word for his patient lenders who would appreciate hearing from him. He told me his business has been doing poorly for a while since after the passing away of his parents his wife also got sick and has been in and out of hospital and this has caused the repayment delays. I hope he will get the opportunity to get online and update lenders as soon as possible

Hi lenders and the entire team,l hope you are all doing well.l am also doing well.l have decided to reschedule my loan repayment because my dairy business is not doing well because of the changes in weather therefore reducing the milk production but once this weather is over l know l will be able to finish repaying my loan.
