My name is Tabitha Sidi Odero, a resident of mtwapa and a businesswoman here in mtwapa. Am a widow, a mother of seven children and living with them all in my own house here in mtwapa. My husband died living me with the responsibility of taking care of the family. My two elder children are in college, one in secondary school and the other four are in primary school. I started doing business because i wanted to secure my family from poverty.I have a fish business. With the income i get from this business i buy food for my family, pay school
fees and other family needs.
Am a determined businesswoman doing a fish business.I sell prawns and other dried fish. this is a good business and very profitable. I supply the prawns and dried fish to the retailers who are doing this business here in mtwapa and even in Kilifi town. I get the prawns in Tanariver because the prawns i sell are from fresh water so fishermen get these prawns from the river. This business is good and profitable but also has risks like long distance traveling and some times the roads are not safe. From this business i get an income of ksh 35;000 per month. With this income i use ksh 10,000 for paying school fees, 5,000 for my family's food and ksh 5,000 for other family needs. so i save ksh 15,000 per month which i canuse to pay my zidisha loan.
Hello, am greatful to your kind consideration to my loan application. Am so happy that i have started the journey to improving my business and my famil's life standard as well. With this loan i want to only add stock to my fish business so that i have enough for my customers requirements. With enough suplement of the comodities that my customers need i will get their attraction and my business will be good as well.
