My name is Mbaraka Rashid, a resident of mtwapa and a businessman in mtwapa. Am a father of two children, and i live with all my family here in mtwapa. Am a primary school dropout leaving school when i was in class seven due to my family's poor financial status. I have a very big task as all my children are in school and also the family upkeep, this has made it difficult for the casual jobs found around here, so i had to turn into business mainly because i wanted to be financially stable. I started a shop wihin my residential area which has now become a good business to me. With the income i get from this business i buy food for my family, pay house rent, pay school fees and other family needs.
My business is a shop and its situated along the chief's opffice and the agricultural road, its doibg good here because i have ready and reliable customers.i have aquired alot of customers because of my friendly service that i give to my customers. Besides being a good business i face risks like, fluctuation of prices in imported goods which affects the profit of my business. In a month i get an income of ksh 20,000. From this amount i use ksh 2,500 to pay my house rent, ksh 5,000 for food, ksh 3,000 for paying school fees.so i save ksh 9,500 which i can use to pay my zidisha loan
Hello, am so greatful for this chance of advancing my business. My thanks to the entire zidisha team for the hard work and determination towards improving people's lives. As for my business i have been waiting for such an opportunity that i could improve my business. So with this loan i will add stock with the whole amount so that i can have enough of my customers' requirements. With this i will have added more value o the business and i expect more income that would anable to repay my loan earlier.
