About Me

Am single mother of three children living with my family here in Diani, Ukunda, in the southern side of the Kenyan coast. Am a long term businesswoman having been in business for the last four years. My first child is a girl who is in college now, the second is a boy who is in form two now and the last born is a boy who is in class seven. I decided to venture into business mainly because i wanted tofree myself from poverty which has been the biggest problem these days. At first i started with a small boutique which has been a very good help to me and my family. This business is now doing very well and i now own a big salon and a cosmetic shop at the same place. With the income i get from this business i buy food for my family, pay for school fees and house rent and other family needs.

My Business

My business is a salon and a boutique at the same place.This business is situated in ukunda and its doing very well.Here business is doing well because majoriy of the people living here are either tourist or people who live with the tourists who are on fashion and would do anything to get what ever is in market when it comes to fashion.My business gets alot of customers because it is near the beach hotels and i get many tourists from even neighboring hotels and resorts coming for the salon and boutique service. Business here is doing good and i get in income of ksh.45,000 per month after my expenses.Risks in this business include, the business is seasonal as i mostly depend on tourists, and when its lw season the business is also low. and this sometimes affects the general income. With what i get as earnings i use ksh, 15,000 for paying school fees for my children, ksh5,000 buying food for my family, 10,000 paying salary to my assistant. i use ksh 5,000 in my church as am the pastor. I save ksh 10,000 per month which i can use to repay my loan.

Hello, am so greatful that my loan application has been approved. I would like to thank the entire zidisha team for their hard work and kind heart in helping people with their businesses. As my first loan i would like to make sure that i utilise all the money so that i can be able to repay earlier. Sowith this loan i want to add a few cosmetics in my salon so that my customers look more beautiful. This will add more value to the business and i expect more income this season.
