I phoned Armstrong today 1011am. He says thissaturday he will send about $60. He explains that his business was demolished by road expansion program. However he is now recovered and will restart repaying.

I have phoned Armstrong 5.56pm and asked about business. He says he sent some money yesterday but I reminded him that his monthly installment is higher than what he had sent. He then promised to send the balance by 15th of March. He sounds quite committed to interact responsibly on zidisha.

The absence of a 'coach benevole' does not encourage me to lend. With no sort of recommendation, there is less likelihood of repayment than if sponsored by an established borrower or other person whose word seems likely to be of value. Given the % of losses in Kenya, shouldn't this be an essential requirement for a borrower?
