My first child is a boy aged ten years old and the second is a girl aged seven years old. they are all i primary school being the first in class eight and the second is in class two respectively. Am a secondary school lever having done my form four examination and passed but due to my family's poor financial background i never had the oppotunity of joing any college. I had to start doing business as away of earning a living. I sell second hand clothes, (mitumba) this business has been helping in raising my family. With the incme i get in this buisness i buy foo for my family, pay house rent, paying school fees and other family reqiurements.

My Business

I sell mitumba which is a businss that is doping very well here because of its low price considering that people here are mostly middle earners who cant afford to but the expensive new clothes in the market. This business is doing good here and has a good income. this business has risks like, the price fluctuations which affects the profit of my products. In a month i get an income of ksh 20,000 per month. With this income i use ksh 3,000 paying my house rent, ksh 6,000 paying school fees, ksh 3,000 buyimg food for my family and ksh 2,000 for m family's other needs. So in a month i save ksh 8,000. With this savings i can use to repay my zidisha loan if granted.

    Dear all,

Ms. Njuguna rescheduled loan repayments when her home was robbed and she lost many assets earlier this year. She resumed monthly repayments in September and October, but is not yet able to spare the full amounts due each month.

I spoke today with Mr. Andrew Kambi, a local volunteer who had typed the loan application on Ms. Njuguna's behalf. He promised to visit Ms. Njuguna and if she wishes, to assist her to use the rescheduling option in our website to adjust the monthly installments to amounts she can afford.

    Best regards,

    Julia Kurnia
    Director, Zidisha

Hello am very sorry to have delayed in repaying my first instalment, this is because my business faced a tragedy after i was robbed at my home. This actually affected my fiancial status that i had to close my business for sometime. Due to this i would like start my repayments by the next month as i will have set myself to repay without any problems. Thank you again for your patience God bless you.
